Ways to Give.

Collectively, we have the opportunity to enable a fresh cohort of change agents to confront the contemporary challenges of our era, challenges that they can assist us in overcoming. Our task is to empower them, ensuring that as they shape the next chapter of our world's ongoing narrative, they are never left to navigate it on their own. Your assistance will enable us to expand the Nii Mantse Scholars Program, broadening access to higher education for young Black individuals, propelling us forward, and collaborating to rewrite history once more.

Matching Gifts

Matching gifts can double, and sometimes triple, the impact of your gift. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies may also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. If your employer offers matching gifts, request a matching gift form which is often available through your company's human resources department.

Donate Marketable Securities

Donating appreciated publicly traded securities that you have held for longer than 12 months may allow you to claim a charitable deduction for the full market value of the securities on the date the gift is made while avoiding tax on the capital gain; please consult your personal tax advisor for advice.

Contact us at donate-nmf@freddycoleman.com for instructions on how to make a gift of securities to the Obama Foundation.

Please ask your bank to include your name in the details of any stock transfer to expedite processing and ensure proper acknowledgement of your gift.

Donor-Advised Funds

Recommend grants from your donor-advised fund (DAF).

Contact your DAF sponsoring organization to learn how to recommend a grant to the Nii Mantse Foundation:

Legal Name: The Nii Mantse Foundation

Federal Tax ID Number: XX-XXXXXXX

Address: 265 Hackensack Street PMB 158, Wood Ridge, NJ 07075

Please ask your sponsoring organization to include your name and address in any grant report or transmittal letter. The Nii Mantse Foundation may not be able to accept DAF grants made without identification of the donor advisor.

To ensure compliance with tax rules, the Nii Mantse Foundation is not able to accept grants made from a donor-advised fund as payments towards an existing pledge. In addition, donor advisors may not receive “a more than incidental benefit” as a result of the distribution of funds from a DAF to the Nii Mantse Foundation. We encourage you to speak with your DAF sponsoring organization or tax advisor regarding the potential tax consequences of your receipt of benefits in connection with a distribution from your donor-advised fund.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
